Hi.

I’m passionately driven by the big questions of life, and am given fully to this business of church. I take very seriously the edict, “Christ has no hands now but yours.” If you think about it, it’s pretty risky stuff.

I labor under the delusion that the real job of the priest in the church is to preach, teach, and administer the sacraments. Hey, it’s gotten me where I am.

Also, I squint when I smile. It’s all true. But at least I’m smiling.

Finally, if you have an affinity for things liturgical, and if you’re not hung up on being right, and if you want to know God more deeply, I think you’re gonna love St. Thomas’. I know I do.

Hope to see you in person!

Grace and peace in Jesus’ name,

P.S. You know how they say people don’t read postscripts anymore? I’m wondering how true that is these days. Tell you what: next time I see you ... you mention this, and I’ll buy you a coffee. Sound good?
